The soul of Shukra Atelier was shaped long before its founding. From an early age, I was drawn to design, spending hours sketching and admiring the small details — buttons and other decorative touches that give objects character.

I grew up surrounded by a quiet reverence for the craft: my grandfather crafted custom buttons to match and elevate tailored pieces, my grandmother held a lifelong appreciation for quality that endures, and my mother taught me to understand fabrics by their touch and movement. These lessons shaped my definition of beauty — as something honest, lasting, and deeply personal.

The Call of Venus

After years of working in a high-velocity corporate world in London, I felt a call to reconnect with a different kind of power — to return to the softness, femininity, and freedom within me. That shift inspired the founding of the Atelier, named after Shukra, the Sanskrit word for Venus. As the celestial muse of beauty, harmony, and artistry, her spirit is woven into every piece we create: elegant, quietly confident, and made to celebrate a woman’s individuality.
